From directing guests to their seats to helping the catering staff serve the right meal, it’s important to get the details right. We break down the most important signage and stationery to have for your wedding ceremony and reception in this guide.
Set the tone for the day with your welcome sign! Guests love taking photos with it and they make a wonderful keepsake for your home.
Seating charts and escort displays let guests know which table they’re sitting at. Seating charts can be a main focal point for your decor and are a great opportunity for creativity and interaction.
Name cards or place cards show your guests which seat at the table is theirs. While you don’t need assigned seats, if you are having a plated dinner, you will need some way to indicate which meal each guest is having. Place cards can double as favors as well!
These signs are essential for helping your guests find their table. We offer both rentals and custom table numbers to complete your decor.
Think about the different areas at your wedding: welcome table, memory table, photo booth, bar, and dessert station are some common ones. These signs are both informational and encourage your guests to interact with a station.
SAVE moneY while saving the ENVIRONMENT
While we’re big on creating something just for you, we also know that some things you just don’t need after your wedding - like table numbers and easels. We provide rentals for our custom calligraphy clients to help make your wedding day beautiful AND sustainable.

working together
01
The process starts when you submit an inquiry and share the vision for your wedding decor and what signage items you need.
02
We’ll provide suggestions and brainstorm based on your inspiration photos and send you a custom, itemized proposal to review.
03
Completing the contract and paying the retainer will secure your date in our schedule. If your ideas change along the way, no worries! In most cases you’ll be able to make adjustments up to a few weeks before your wedding.
04
About a month before your wedding, we’ll send a questionnaire to gather your signage text and guest list. We’ll need this back 3-4 weeks before your wedding day.
05
The fun part begins! You’ll have a chance to approve the designs for key signage pieces before we turn your ideas into reality!
"She brought all the missing touches to our dream come true."
Shaochen brought us on fairly last minute as we realized we were not going to have the time to handle signage ourselves. My wife and I are SO glad that we brought her onto the team. Her craft is really top-notch and she's thoughtful, communicative, and creative. In the end, she brought all the missing touches to our dream come true and we couldn't be more happy to recommend her.
JAMES & MORGAN
3-6 months before your wedding is typically the optimal time to inquire. At this point you have the key elements of your wedding aesthetic nailed down, with ample time to finalize the details. We ask that all weddings are booked at least 6 weeks before wedding day to avoid rush fees.
Our current minimum investment is $1,500, which is approximately the pricing for a welcome sign, seating chart, and place cards for 100 guests based on starting sizes and prices. Most clients spend $2 - $2.5k and for large displays we recommend having a budget of at least $3k. Specifics greatly depend on guest count and the designs you're looking for, please share an accurate budget so that we may provide the best guidance.
While many of our clients choose to pick up their own signage, we do offer delivery service for an extra fee. Please inquire for pricing and availability.
No we don't, as our passion is wedding day details, but we are happy to provide referrals!
